The “Magic of Personal Development” event reached its fifth edition, and this time we visited the commune of Țuglui, in Dolj County, at Țuglui Middle School. The cheerful colors and the well-maintained school gave us a good, positive energy. As we predicted in a previous post, autumn started with a bang!

The teachers and staff treated us with water, coffee, and pastries. They had prepared the location to make both us and the students who attended the event feel comfortable. We appreciated that everything took place outside, and the weather was on our side. With each event, we encounter new situations, and the locations we discover delight us, creating a connection between us, the teachers, and the students.

The colorful balloons lifted our spirits, and the students contributed to the overall joy as they were very open and communicative.

To begin with, Ramona Buzatu, Lavinia Nasta, and Florentina Costina spoke to the students about the Autonom Foundation and its involvement in such educational events. Especially since they will meet the Autonom team again in future events related to personal development.

The “Dream Creator,” none other than entrepreneur Răzvan Jianu, spoke to the students about aspirations and the fields they wish to pursue as adults. Whether they choose to be employed or pursue entrepreneurship, the students were very enthusiastic about discussing their choices and learning how they could achieve these dreams.

They gave excellent answers to questions about mentorship, were intuitive, and eagerly participated in the case study that Răzvan presented as a reflection exercise for their future. Their desire to help and come up with the best answers delighted us all, including the teachers, because ultimately, these students excel in part due to their dedication.

Right after these exercises, magician Mario Popescu took the stage, captivating the children with his magic tricks. The students gathered around him, eager to see the magic up close. They were eager to be chosen and to join Mario in the fun. They were thrilled with every magic trick, laughed, and responded in unison to every instruction.

The most well-behaved and communicative students were rewarded with books. However, both the children and the teachers received participation diplomas for the Magic of Personal Development event, as a token of appreciation for their effort. We were pleasantly surprised by the heartfelt joy with which we were received, and we left with the same positive energy. We were congratulated and embraced, a sign that we left a good impression on the students—which was our goal.

Because they are our future. We want to encourage them to believe in their dreams, to read more, and to enjoy education and learning for their own development, so that they can grow beautifully.

We love organizing such events that can help the next generation. And if, through our efforts, we can positively impact even the life of just one child, it means that we have truly lived, as the poet says!
