For the seventh event of the Magic of Personal Development project, we visited the Adina Stiftelsen Foundation in Dolj, specifically in Șimnicu de Sus. Despite the cold weather, the warmth and joy with which we were welcomed dispelled any trace of discomfort and prepared us for this wonderful event. The teachers and volunteers were immensely helpful, everything was well organized, and the students were polite and attentive. Their involvement was evident in every moment as we worked with these wonderful children.
The Autonom Foundation was represented by Ramona Buzatu and Lavinia Nasta. They spoke to the children about the Foundation’s projects, about social involvement in the community, and the importance of reading.
And because he is in high demand during this time of year, Mario Popescu, the magician, made an earlier appearance. His magic tricks were met with great enthusiasm by the children. Everyone wanted to step forward and contribute to the magical moments. Mario captivated them with each act, spoke to them about the value of hard work and passion to reach their goals, and emphasized how important it is to believe in their dreams and have confidence that they will succeed.
After a short break, the “Dream Creator,” none other than entrepreneur Răzvan Jianu, challenged the children with short games and questions designed to aid in their personal development. They were eager to participate, their answers were excellent, and they worked wonderfully together when given a group exercise. The most well-behaved and active participants received books and participation diplomas.
It was another successful event under the Magic of Personal Development banner. Thanks to the engaged teachers and students, who have great potential for success. We tried to convey important values related to reading, personal and emotional growth, empathy, initiative, and entrepreneurial spirit.
We thank the teachers and volunteers of the Adina Stiftelsen Foundation for their support and organization. We appreciate the kindness of the auxiliary staff who supported and guided us. They all do a wonderful job through their educational programs and projects that help and support communities in need, in Dolj County and beyond. Thanks also go to the Autonom Foundation, which has supported and carried out over 1000 educational projects across the country.
We love organizing such events that can help the next generation. In addition to development opportunities, we also provide those moments of entertainment that not everyone has access to. And if, through our efforts, we can positively impact even the life of just one child, it means that we have truly lived, as the poet says!
