The eighth event of the Magic of Personal Development project took place at Giurgița Middle School in Dolj County. The sunny weather guided us to a beautiful, cheerful location where we were welcomed with enthusiasm by a hall full of children. More than 150 children joined us for the last event of 2023.
Mădălina Gherghe helped us with this event, getting involved in both the organization and her speech. Her presence was a great inspiration, thanks to the ease with which she connected with the children. The valuable information she shared was well received by both the children and the adults present.
The team from Autonom prepared the stage for the “Dream Creator,” none other than Răzvan Jianu. The children were eager to discover the games prepared by Răzvan and enthusiastically answered his questions. Even though some answers were repeated, each of them was eager to communicate and express themselves. Răzvan encouraged them to trust in their abilities and participate in the exercises. Every step, idea, or mistake, he told them, would contribute to their personal growth. They chose as a group to participate in an exercise about friendship, and those who were well-behaved and active received books and participation diplomas.
The Autonom Foundation was represented by Ramona Buzatu and Florentina Costina. They spoke to the students about the foundation’s contributions to the community and the investments that the Autonom Foundation makes in education for younger generations. They emphasized the importance of reading and handed out books and diplomas to the well-behaved and active students.
We missed Mario Popescu, the magician, who was unable to attend due to health reasons, but he was with us in spirit, supporting us beyond the phone screen. We kept in touch with him, hoping to convey the enthusiasm and energy typical of The Magic of Personal Development events.
In Mario’s absence, the universe brought us people with excellent energy—the teachers of Giurgița Middle School supported us throughout the event. Principal Tatiana Duică was involved and stayed by the students’ side, ready to help with anything they needed. The auxiliary staff also provided great support. We felt pampered and welcomed with open arms.
People like them contribute to shaping the adults of tomorrow. They instill important values, good ideas that will accompany the students throughout their lives, and the motivation for personal growth, whether in their careers or as entrepreneurs. And we are preparing for next year, when we will continue to engage in the education and development of the new generation!
