On a beautiful early spring day, Castranova Middle School in Dolj hosted the ninth edition of the Magic of Personal Development event. A sunny day full of promise, where teachers and students gathered eagerly to participate in this special event. With over 40 children in attendance, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Curiosity, the desire to learn, and self-expression prevailed.
The event was opened by Mr. Gheorghe Duță, a dedicated leader who understands the importance of investing in the education of young people for our future. He shared with the participants the school’s efforts to support students through European projects and collaborations between teachers and school counselors. He emphasized the importance of these initiatives in shaping future generations. Following him, teachers Raduț Alexandra and Anca Mihaela Manolache impressed with their commitment to education and their innovative approach to teaching and guiding students.
Everyone was captivated by the interactive presentation by Răzvan Jianu, known as the “Dream Creator”. Răzvan used games and motivational exercises to encourage students to express their ideas and build self-confidence. He conveyed the message that it is important to share thoughts and ideas with others, even if there is a risk of making mistakes. Every mistake is a learning opportunity. During the activities, students were encouraged to participate in exercises related to entrepreneurship, and the most active and well-behaved ones were rewarded with books and participation diplomas. We aimed to reinforce the idea that involvement and effort are always rewarded.
The Autonom Foundation also had a significant presence at the event, represented by Ramona Maria Buzatu, Lavinia Nasta, and Florentina Costina. They shared with the students the importance of reading and presented the foundation’s programs aimed at supporting young people in the community. The students were receptive and grateful for their presence, and the most engaged participants were rewarded with books and diplomas.
The most heartfelt reward came from the students who, after the awards and photos, embraced both Răzvan and the team from Autonom. They expressed their interest and enthusiasm, asking when they would return for another Magic of Personal Development event at their school, a sign that these actions are effective and that the students are open and interested.
